Mushroom Growing Logs

Fresh hardwood mushroom growing logs cut from deciduous trees in our sustainably managed Surrey woodland. Our logs are supplied green and untreated, ready for inoculation with suitable mushroom spawn.

We primarily use Beech, Sycamore and Sweet Chestnut, depending on seasonal availability. These hardwoods can be used for growing a range of wood-loving mushrooms including Shiitake, Oyster, Chestnut and Nameko.

The logs are freshly harvested and have not been washed, sterilised or chemically treated. Natural bark, lichen and occasional moss may be present. Mushroom spawn is not included, so please follow the inoculation and growing instructions supplied by your chosen spawn supplier.
