We use bird-safe woods including Hazel, Beech and Sycamore, offering natural branches in a range of lengths and diameters for different birds and aviary setups. We deliberately select branches with varied thicknesses, bends, forks, knots and natural bark texture to create interesting perching and climbing surfaces.
The branches are supplied in their natural state and have not been washed, sterilised, varnished or chemically treated. Natural lichen, moss and variations in the bark may therefore be present.
Many of our bird perches are freshly cut or partially seasoned and will continue to dry naturally in a well-ventilated environment.
Our natural branch perches are suitable for a wide range of pet birds, depending on the size and diameter selected. Always choose a perch appropriate for your particular bird and inspect natural branches before placing them in a cage or aviary.
Our branches are harvested in small quantities as part of the ongoing management of our Surrey woodland. No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land.
