Our Terrarium & Mossarium collection includes fresh living moss, moss carpets, moss-covered logs and branches, lichen sticks, woodland ferns and natural materials for creating beautiful terrariums, mossariums and miniature woodland displays.

🌱 Real Living Woodland Moss

Our moss is fresh and living, not dried, dyed or preserved. It is carefully gathered in small quantities and supplied with some of its natural growing material wherever possible.

🪵 Mossy Logs, Lichen & Woodland Materials

Alongside moss carpets, we offer naturally moss-covered wood, decaying woodland logs, lichen-covered branches and other materials that have developed their character outdoors over time.

Knots, bark, natural decay, different moss species, lichens and irregular shapes are all part of the material rather than imperfections.

💧 Caring for Living Moss

Unpack living moss and moss-covered wood promptly after delivery and allow it to breathe.

Mist with rainwater where possible and keep the moss moist. Most woodland moss prefers a cool, humid position with natural light but away from strong direct sunlight.

Different moss species and terrarium environments have different requirements, so conditions may need adjusting to suit your individual setup.

🦎 Terrariums, Vivariums & Bioactive Enclosures

Many of our natural woodland materials can also be used in suitable reptile, amphibian, isopod, millipede, snail and other invertebrate enclosures.

Our materials are deliberately supplied in their natural state and are not sterilised or chemically treated. Please inspect all wild-gathered materials before use and make sure untreated woodland materials are appropriate for the species you keep.

Because these are genuine living woodland materials, they may contain small amounts of soil, other plants, seeds, fungi or tiny woodland invertebrates. This natural biodiversity is part of the material we gather.
