Create a more natural vivarium or bioactive enclosure with woodland materials hand collected from our sustainably managed woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.
Our range includes dried Oak and Sweet Chestnut leaf litter, living moss, lichen-covered sticks, natural branches and other seasonal woodland materials for reptile, amphibian and invertebrate enclosures.
Natural leaf litter provides cover and gradually breaks down within a bioactive setup, while moss can help create cool, damp areas. Branches and lichen-covered sticks add natural structure, climbing surfaces and woodland texture. Our materials are also popular with keepers of isopods, springtails, millipedes and snails.
Most of our woodland materials are supplied in their natural state and are not washed, sterilised, microwaved or chemically treated. This is particularly important to customers who want to retain the natural biological elements of woodland material. As a result, occasional seeds, small plants or woodland invertebrates may be present.
Always inspect natural materials before adding them to an enclosure and check that each product is suitable for the particular species you keep.
All materials are gathered in small quantities from our Surrey woodland. No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land
