Bring the colours, textures and wonderful fresh scent of the winter woodland to your Christmas table with this natural decoration set.

Each set is created using fresh Western Red Cedar logs and foliage together with natural Scots Pine cones, gathered from our woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

Arrange the individual pieces to create your own rustic Christmas centrepiece for a dining table, mantelpiece, sideboard or festive display.

Candles are NOT included.

Fresh Western Red Cedar

The logs and foliage are freshly cut, retaining the beautiful colour and characteristic aroma of Western Red Cedar.

The foliage can remain attractive for several weeks out of water, particularly when kept somewhere cool and away from radiators, fires and other heat sources.

For a longer fresh life, the cut ends of the foliage can be placed in water where your arrangement allows.

As a completely natural material, the foliage will gradually dry and its colour and texture will change over time.

🪵 Fresh Natural Cedar Logs

The three Cedar logs are also supplied freshly cut rather than kiln dried.

Fresh timber naturally contains moisture and may occasionally weep moisture or sticky Cedar resin as it begins to season.

We recommend placing the logs on a suitable protective mat or surface, particularly when displaying them on polished, painted or delicate furniture.

The logs will gradually dry and season naturally over time.

🕯️ Using with Candles

Candles and candle holders are NOT included.

If you choose to incorporate candles into your display, candles must be placed in suitable heat-resistant candle holders and positioned safely away from the Cedar foliage, pine cones, wood and other combustible materials.

Never place a naked flame directly onto a log or amongst the foliage, and never leave burning candles unattended.

Battery-operated LED candles are a good alternative where you want the candlelit appearance amongst natural foliage.

🌿 Naturally Individual

Every component comes from real trees and plants, so your set will have its own individual character.

Expect natural variations in:

• Log diameter and bark
• Foliage shape and colour
• Pine cone size and shape
• Knots and natural markings

These variations are part of what makes each woodland centrepiece unique.

From Our Surrey Woodland

The Cedar, foliage and Scots Pine cones are gathered in small quantities from our family woodland on the North Downs in Surrey as part of our ongoing woodland management.

No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land.

Hanging Wood has been managed by our family since 1976.
