🌿 Large 22" Handmade Fresh Green Woodland Christmas Wreath

A large, full Christmas wreath handmade using fresh foliage, cones, twigs and seasonal seed heads gathered from our own woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

The wreath is constructed on a 12-inch frame, but once dressed with the natural foliage it measures approximately 22 inches / 55cm across, creating a substantial wreath for a front door, wall or festive display.

The design celebrates the natural colours of an English winter woodland – rich evergreen Cedar, woody browns, Scots Pine cones and delicate white and cream seed heads, including the beautiful feathery seed heads of Old Man's Beard.

Fresh & Seasonal

This is a real fresh foliage wreath, so its appearance will naturally change as the foliage dries.

For the longest fresh life, keep the wreath cool and away from radiators, fires and other heat sources. An outdoor or cool sheltered position will generally help fresh foliage remain attractive for longer than a warm centrally heated room.

The foliage and seed heads can gradually dry in place, allowing the wreath to develop a more dried, rustic character as the season progresses.

🌿 Every Wreath Is Different

We don't try to make our woodland wreaths completely uniform.

The exact shape of the Cedar, size of the cones, colour of the twigs and abundance and type of white seed heads will vary according to what is naturally available in our woodland when your wreath is made.

That's an important part of this product: your wreath reflects the woodland and the season in which it was created.

Natural seed heads are delicate, so a small amount of shedding during delivery and handling is normal.

From Our Surrey Woodland

The natural materials used in these wreaths are gathered in small quantities from our own family-managed woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

We do not clear whole areas when harvesting. Materials are gathered selectively as part of our ongoing woodland management, while maintaining the woodland canopy and habitat.

No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land.

Hanging Wood has been managed by our family since 1976.
