Our Hawthorn branches are cut in season and dried naturally, rather than being artificially coloured or manufactured.

As a result, expect genuine variation in berry colour, size, stem shape and texture.

Dried berries and stems are naturally delicate. Some berries may become detached during packing and delivery, which is normal for this type of natural dried material.

Our Hawthorn is gathered in small quantities from our family-managed woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land, and material is collected as part of our ongoing woodland management.

Hanging Wood has been managed by our family since 1976.
