🌿 Natural Dried Birch Branch Bundle – 30–40 Twigs

A generous bunch of 30–40 natural Birch twigs and slender branches, hand gathered from our woodland on the North Downs in Surrey and allowed to dry naturally.

With their delicate branching shapes, distinctive bark and fine twiggy structure, Birch branches make beautiful natural displays on their own or combined with dried flowers, foliage and other seasonal materials.

Each bunch contains mixed lengths, with the longest branches measuring approximately 60cm.

Beautiful Natural Birch

Birch has wonderfully distinctive bark and a light, airy branching structure that works particularly well in natural and minimalist arrangements.

The twigs can be displayed alone in a simple vase or combined with dried grasses, flowers, berries, foliage and other woodland materials.

Because we retain their natural shapes, each bunch contains a mixture of straight and crooked stems, forks, fine side twigs and individual bark markings.

🌱 Seasonal Catkins

Birch is a seasonal natural material, so its appearance changes throughout the year.

Catkins may be present on branches gathered during autumn and winter, but they are seasonal and are not guaranteed.

This natural variation means a winter bunch can look quite different from one gathered at another time of year.

Naturally Dried

Our Birch branches are dried naturally rather than artificially preserved.

They require no water and can be placed directly into a dry vase or incorporated into craft and floristry projects.

When kept dry and away from persistent damp, the branches can remain attractive for a long time, although their colour and appearance will continue to change naturally as they age.

Please Note

You will receive a bunch similar to those shown in the photographs, but every branch is different.

Expect natural variations in length, diameter, branching, bark colour, bends and markings. Small twigs and catkins, when present, can be delicate and some shedding during transit and handling is normal.

🌳 From Our Surrey Woodland

Our Birch branches are gathered in small quantities through pruning, thinning and ongoing management of our family woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land.

Hanging Wood has been managed by our family since 1976.
