🌿 Natural Hazel Morris Dancing Clash Sticks – Set of 3

A set of three strong, natural Hazel sticks cut from our family-managed woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

These sticks are selected for their relatively straight growth and strength, making them suitable for use as Morris dancing clash sticks. Unlike machined wooden poles, they retain their natural bark, character and slight variations in shape.

Hazel has attractive light to mid-brown bark, often with silvery tones and natural markings. As these are genuine woodland-grown branches, no two sticks will look exactly alike.

Grown & Cut in Our Surrey Woodland

Our Hazel is grown in our own woodland and cut as part of our ongoing woodland management. Hazel responds particularly well to coppicing, producing new growth from the established stool after cutting.

The sticks are selected from healthy growth rather than collected as fallen or decaying wood from the woodland floor.

Natural Product

Because these are real branches rather than manufactured dowels, please expect natural differences in bark colour, knots, markings, diameter and straightness. We select relatively straight pieces for these Morris dancing sticks, but some natural character will remain.

You will receive sticks similar to those shown in the photographs.
