A naturally crooked Beech branch with bark, selected for use as a rustic wooden handle for basket making, wickerwork and other natural craft projects.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for ONE BEECH BRANCH ONLY. The basket, bindings and any other items shown in styled photographs are NOT included.
Each branch is approximately 12 inches (30cm) long and 3cm in diameter, with a gentle natural bend rather than being perfectly straight. The bark is left in place, retaining the knots, texture and character of the wood.
These are real woodland-grown branches rather than manufactured wooden handles, so each one will vary naturally in shape, bend, bark, knots, colour and diameter. We select branches with suitable character for this type of craft use, but no two will be identical.
They can be drilled, bound or incorporated into your basket according to your own design and preferred basket-making method.
The finished basket photographs are examples of how a natural branch can be used. You will receive the Beech branch only, not a finished basket.
