10 x Wild Organic Alpine Strawberries Bare Rooted Plug Plants Full Hardy Edible

These wild Strawberry plants will be dug up to order from our Woodlands in Surrey. Our woodlands are completely organic and we do not use pesticides or insecticides. The Strawberries collected as part of our woodland management plan so no damage to the woodlands is caused.

You will receive 10 plants. The plants are sent out as bare rooted plants. The plants vary in size from 2" - 4" in size.

Care: The Strawberry plants will be sent in packaging that will assist keeping their roots moist. Take the plants out of their packaging as soon as they arrive so they can breathe. Soak them in water and plant out in the desired location. The plants will die back in Autumn but are really hardy so will grow back again in spring.

Taste: Wild Strawberries are native to English woodlands. They are much smaller than the more common varieties. Wild strawberries have an extremely sweet flavour and a hint of vanilla. The fruit is best eaten fresh on its own and can be served with cream or ice cream.
