🌿 10 x 116cm Natural Straight Hazel Branches

A bundle of 10 long, naturally straight Hazel sticks, freshly cut from our sustainably managed woodland on the North Downs in Surrey.

Hazel produces wonderfully versatile craft wood with attractive natural bark, subtle colour variation and individual markings. We select these branches for their relatively straight growth, making them particularly useful where a longer, straighter natural stick is required.

🪵 Fresh Natural Wood

These branches are supplied green, meaning they are freshly cut rather than kiln-dried or fully seasoned. They will gradually dry and season naturally when stored indoors in a dry, well-ventilated place.

The sticks have not been washed, varnished or chemically treated. Natural variations in bark colour and texture, small knots, buds, slight bends and other woodland characteristics are normal and form part of the character of real Hazel wood.

Please Note

You will receive 10 branches similar to those shown in the photographs. As these are natural branches rather than manufactured wooden dowels, every bundle will vary slightly in colour, shape, thickness and bark detail.

🌳 From Our Surrey Woodland

Our Hazel is harvested in small quantities as part of the ongoing coppicing, pruning and management of our own woodland. No pesticides or insecticides are used on our land.

Hanging Wood has been managed by our family since 1976 on the North Downs in Surrey.
